Property developer Larkfleet Group (www.LarkfleetGroup.co.uk) hopes to provide office space for up to 60 new jobs in its home town of Bourne, near Peterborough. The company has obtained planning consent to build a 600 square metre (6,500 square foot) three storey office block alongside its own headquarters at Larkfleet House on Southfield Business Park. Larkfleet managing director Karl Hick said: "Southfield Business Park is an ideal location for any company with business interests in this area - as we have demonstrated ourselves - and this new building could be purpose-designed to meet the requirements of an organisation looking for a new headquarters or regional office. "We could complete construction of the building in just six months from the time we agree a deal. That is not greatly different to how long it would take to complete the formalities for moving into an existing office block. However, this new building offers all the benefits of being designed to meet the occupier's needs and having guarantees on quality and performance. "It would be very pleasing to attract a new company to bring new jobs to Bourne. A building of this size could easily accommodate up to 60 people." The site of the new building is alongside South Road on the edge of Bourne, the main route to nearby Peterborough. It is part of Southfield Business Park a 6 hectare (15 acre) development which includes offices, homes and a medical centre. |
